Letting Go and Watching Growth

Spring has finally come this week,
Without any help from me.
Flowers are blooming
pushing through dead leaves and untilled soil
Even more surprising,
all sorts of breakthroughs are happening
in my adult kid’s lives
simply because I let go of control
prayed, trusted in God and
allowed natural growth and development to progress
without my meddling
…too much! Let’s say I facilitated, then stepped back.
